Evelyn Lee, 93, of Washington, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, February 14, 2025.

She was born in Virginia, IL on January 19, 1932 to Wilma Keltner.  She married Harold Lee on February 19, 1950.  He preceded her in death on October 24, 1989.  She was also preceded in death by her mother; son, Gregory Lee; step father, Andrew Harmon; and sister, Kathy Harmon.

Surviving are six children, Karrie (James) Unger, Krista (Randy) Sampson, Timothy Lee, Harold (Barb) Lee, Teresa (Mike Miller) Lee, Joseph Lee; eight grandchildren, Natasha (Jason) Ernst, Gretchen (Mike) Brown, Randy Jr. (Kristi) Sampson, Heidi (Mike) Bowen, Ginny (Kris) Oram, Danya (Josh) Harms, Casey (John) Rutledge, Drew Lee; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Evelyn previously worked at Sears in Peoria for many years, and at St. Patrick Catholic Church School in Washington.  She was an exceptional cook who enjoyed playing cards, feeding hummingbirds, and spending time with her family and friends.  She will be dearly missed.

Per her wishes, cremation has been accorded.  There will be no service.  Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
