Obituary Evelyn "June" Hubert, 97, a lifelong resident of Peoria Heights, IL died at 1:20 am Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Pekin Manor in Pekin, IL. Born June 1, 1914 in Peoria, IL to Richard and Ammorine Woodruff Moushon, she married Joseph H. Hubert on February 10, 1933. He preceded her in death on November 21, 1998. Surviving are 3 daughters, Dolores (Dennis) Fox of Youngstown, FL, Janet Young of Peoria, IL, and Linda Park of East Peoria, IL, 1 son, Joseph (Lonnie) Hubert of Marquette Heights, IL, 1 brother, R. Dean (Karen) Moushon of Peoria, IL, 8 Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, William Moushon and Raymond Moushon. June worked in the Alterations Department as a seamstress at P.A. Bergners, retiring in 1979. She was an avid gardener and did alterations in her home for many years. She was a member of the Peoria Heights Congregational Church for 81 years, where she also served on the music committee, and contributed bread to many bake sales. Visitation will be from 2-4 pm Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. A funeral service will follow at 4 pm at the funeral home. Pastor Evan Williams of Sunnyland Christian Church will officiate. Entombment will be private at American Mausoleum in Peoria.
