Obituary Peoria Heights- Evan E. Weaver, 88 of Peoria Heights, passed away at 6:18 AM on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Proctor Hospital in Peoria. Evan was born on December 3, 1924 at home in rural Wayne County, IL to Lewis and Betheny Dickey Weaver. Surviving are one son, Michael (Pam) Weaver of Peoria, and three daughters, Ellen (Bob) Zauke of Normal, Mary (James) Curry of Washington and Nancy Weaver of Peoria Heights, 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Dwight (Evelyn) Weaver and Bernie Weaver; and a sister, Evelyn Edwards, all of Wayne County, IL. Evan was preceded in death by his son, Mark Weaver on March 10, 2012 and three brothers, Clifford, Hobart and Donnie Weaver Evan worked at Pabst Brewing Company in Peoria Heights for 30 years before his retirement. Following his retirement he worked briefly in Maintenance at the Holiday Inn and Chateau Richlieu. He enjoyed a good game of golf and pool. Evan was a long time member of Bay View Baptist Church in Washington. Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Bay View Baptist Church, 22648 Grosenbach Road in Washington. Pastor Walter Wagner will officiate. Honoring Evan's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded following the service. Visitation will take place at the church on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington.
