Ernie Crow, 91, of Metamora, passed away at 11:18pm Sunday, May 14, 2023 at Hallmark Healthcare of Pekin.

He was born January 30, 1932 in Omaha, Nebraska to John R.B. and Beulah Violet Rae Crow.  He married Jo Williamson in Lincoln, Nebraska on June 4, 1960.  She preceded him in death on May 11, 2023.  He was also preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Betty June Crow Hagin, and her husband, Don; his niece, Ella Hagin Petty and her husband, Russ.

Surviving are two children, Jennifer (Daniel) Sarver of Creve Coeur, and Steven E. Crow of Bartonville; and one grandson, Shaun W. Sarver.

Ernie was a United States Air Force Veteran who served during the Korean War.  He worked at Westinghouse in Omaha, Nebraska before moving to Metamora.  He then worked as an electronics technician at Caterpillar Inc., retiring after 28 years of service.

Cremation has been accorded.  A celebration of life will be from noon to 5pm Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the Christian Union Church in Metamora.  Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Ark Animal Shelter in Lacon.
