Obituary Emma L. Siebenthal, 87, of East Peoria, passed away at 8:15 am Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016 at Fondulac Rehab and Health Care Center in East Peoria. She was born April 26, 1929 in Peoria to Neil and Laura Pankey DeYoung. She married David Siebenthal in Peoria on Oct. 7, 1946. He preceded her in death on Sept. 19, 2015. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 4 sisters and 4 brothers. Surviving are 3 children, Larry (Diane) Siebenthal of Creve Coeur, Patricia Siebenthal of Creve Coeur, Brian (Stacie) Siebenthal of St. Petersburg, FL; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Emma retired from Walgreens after 25 years of service. She loved spending time with her family and will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Creve Coeur Christian Church. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service for Emma will be at the Creve Coeur Christian Church at 3 pm on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016 with Pastor's Blake Chenowith and John Plunkett officiating. Family will receive friends from 2 to 3 pm prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
