Obituary PEKIN - Emma L. Lock, 75, of Washington, IL, and formerly of Pekin, IL, died at 8:40 am Sunday, May 23, 2010 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Born on May 26, 1934 in Logan, WV, to John and Elizabeth King Worix, she married Calvin D. Lock on October 18, 1948 in Pikeville, KY. He preceded her in death on October 23, 2003 in Peoria. Surviving are 2 children, John (Teresa) Lock of Washington and Debra (Richard) Marshall of South Beloit, IL, 1 brother, John (Marcia) Worix of Many, LA, 3 grandchildren, Heather (Scott) Frost, Michael Marshall, and Shiela Wise, and 4 great-grandchildren, Killian, Kailynn, David, and Nate. She was preceded in death by 1 son, Jerry Lock, 1 sister, Darlene, and 1 great-grandson, Logan. Emma worked in the Housekeeping Department at OSF St. Francis Medical Center for many years until her retirement. A Memorial Celebration of Emma's life will be at 11 am Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Bethel Baptist Church in Pekin. Pastor Steve Rowell Sr. will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded.
