Obituary WASHINGTON - Ella May Morrow, 81, of Washington, IL, died at 4:08 am Sunday, January 9, 2011 at her home. Born on April 13, 1929 in Peoria, IL to William and Ruth Alberta Marshall Neilson, she married Joseph E. Morrow on May 2, 1947 in East Peoria, IL. Surviving are her husband, Joe of 63 years, 1 son, Joe R. Morrow of Peoria, IL, 2 brothers, Bill (Charlotte) Neilson of East Peoria and Edward (Patty) Brunner of Groveland, IL, sister-in-law, Delores Neilson of Peoria, IL, and many, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, Ed Brunner, who helped raise her, and 1 brother, Leroy Neilson. Ella attended to Living Rock Church in Peoria Heights, and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star for over 50 years. She also was an avid bowler. Services for Ella will be at 1 pm Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Her brother-in-law, Rev. Stanley Svetich will officiate. Visitation will be from 12-1 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery in Peoria, IL.
