Obituary EAST PEORIAa"Elizabeth Ann Willis, 50, of East Peoria passed away suddenly at 6:38 AM on Friday, July 22, 2011 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. She was born April 23, 1961 in Peoria to Robert and Eileen Masters Willis. She is survived by her parents of East Peoria and seven siblings, Greg (Debbie) Willis of Gilbert, AZ, Kathy (Curtis Phillips) Kerker of Washington, IL, Steve (Maria Atherton) Willis of Germantown Hills, Margaret (Scott) Thatcher of Pekin, Jenny (Steve) Ball of East Peoria, Tim Willis of Albuquerque, NM and Julie (Orlando) Duran of Tampa, FL; her much-loved nieces and nephews, as well as Mackenzie, Emily and Adriana with whom she was especially close, and her best friend, Phyllis Redshaw. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and her niece, Sabrina Duran. Liz was a graduate of East Peoria Community High School She worked for Peoria School District 150 through Compass Groups as an administrative assistant. Liz especially enjoyed family gatherings with her cousins and other family members. She was loved by many and friend to all. A funeral service will be held at 7 PM on Tuesday, July 26 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following services. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
