Obituary Elizabeth Janice "Beth" Howard, 38, of Peoria, passed away at 5:00pm, Wednesday September 18, 2013 at her home. Beth was born June 20, 1975 in Peoria to Gregory and Janice "Janny" Sheppard Lamb. She married John F. Howard July 20, 2002; he survives. Also surviving is her daughter Marilyn Margaret, at home; father and step-mother, Greg (Janice) Lamb, of Graysville, TN; siblings, Patrick (Missy) Lamb, Lafayette, IN and Christine (Adam) Simmons, Canonsburg, PA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Margaret Howard, Peoria; sister-in-law, Emily (Steve) Gant, St. Louis; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Janny; maternal grandparents, Janice and Dennis Sheppard; and paternal grandparents, Paul and Marilyn Lamb. Beth graduated from Northern Illinois University after studying Communications. She enjoyed being a stay at home mom to her daughter, and was a member of St. Philomena Catholic Church. Funeral Mass for Beth will be at 10:00am, Monday, September 23, 2013 at St. Philomena Catholic Church, Peoria. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00pm, Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory, Washington and one hour prior to Mass at the church. Father David Richardson will officiate.
