Obituary WASHINGTON - Elizabeth "Betty" J. Antonacci, 80, of Washington, IL, died at 1:19 pm Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Proctor Hospital in Peoria, IL. Born on March 8, 1930 in Peoria, IL, to James William and Thelma Ann Strassburger Kemp, she married Tony Antonacci on January 9, 1954 in Peoria, IL. He survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, Jim (Marilyn) Antonacci of St. Louis, MO, and Ed (Antoinette) Antonacci of Fontana, CA, 1 daughter, Rosemary (Dave) Marion of Mt. Carmel, IL, 1 sister, Almalee M. Smith of San Bernadino, CA, 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Page, Christopher Antonacci, Lewis Antonacci, Jonathan Marion and Daniel Marion, and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers. Betty worked as an accountant in the Peoria area. She enjoyed golfing with the Hillcrest Ladies Gold League in Washington, and was a bowler and avid gardener. She always enjoyed attending her grandchildren's activities and sporting events. A funeral service for Betty will be at 10 am Monday, March 15, 2010 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria. Pastor David Stamerjohn will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-6 pm Sunday, March 14, 2010 at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum in Peoria.
