Obituary Elisabeth "Betty" Schlack, 97, of Washington, passed away at 11:35 pm Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Morningside of Washington. She was born May 1, 1920 in a German village in Schlonsk, Poland to Daniel and Elisabeth Kreuger. She married Lee Schlack on December 7, 1948. He preceded her in death on March 17, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and eight siblings. Surviving are her son, Curt (and Barb) Schlack of Bloomington; grandson, Rod Marshall of Normal; great-grandson, Bryden Marshall of Normal; sister-in-law, Marga Schlack of Washington; and several nieces and nephews. Betty was a member of St Mark's Lutheran Church in Washington. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time with her family. Cremation rites have been accorded, there will be no services. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is in charge of arrangements.
