Obituary WASHINGTON - Eleanor R. Green, 79, of Washington, died at 9:45 am Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at Washington Christian Village. Born on March 18, 1927 in East Peoria, IL to Peter E. and Bertha Zimmerman Bauer, she married Albert Green on November 23, 1949 in Groveland, IL. He died on January 9, 2002 in Peoria, IL. Surviving are 2 daughters Bernice Jones of Richland, MO, Dorothy (Dean) Krowlek of Washington, IL 4 sons, Howard Green of Morton, IL, Floyd (Janet) Green of Pekin, IL, Walter (Joy) Green of Mackinaw, IL and Richard Green of Washington, IL; 2 brothers, Elmer (Lorene) Bauer of East Peoria and Robert (Maxine) Bauer of Washington; 2 sisters, Louise Fuehring of Lee Summit, MO and Verniel (Don) Carlson of Morton; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, John. She was a graduate of East Peoria Community High School Class of 1945. Eleanor was of the Lutheran faith. Graveside services will be at 12:30 PM on Thursday, December 7, 2006 at the Swan Lake Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel in Peoria. The Rev. Jeff Browning will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11AM-12PM at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington.
