Obituary Eleanor I. Barnette, 83, of East Peoria, passed away at 8:10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug 3, 2016 at Morton Villa Health Care and Rehabilitation in Morton. She was born May 9, 1933 in Trenton, New Jersey to Theodore and Myrtle Abbott Norcross. She married Sam Barnette in East Peoria on October 29, 1965. He survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Tina Krebsbach of East Peoria; three sons, Bob Bell of Minnesota, Tom (Leona) Bell of Morton, Randy Bell of East Peoria; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one sister, Helen of New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary Ann Malley; one brother, Charlie; and two sisters, Alice and Joan. Eleanor was a homemaker and was a member of the East Peoria VFW Auxiliary. She was an avid bingo player and was a big Chicago Cubs fan. Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria.
