Obituary Patricia Eileen Wilkinson, 89, of Morton, passed away at 3:53am, Thursday, May 22, 2014 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. Eileen was born February 17, 1925 in Fayette County, IL to James and Clara Tackett Stokes. She married James Wilkinson in 1945, and he passed away in 1975. Surviving are two sons, Russell (Carol) Wilkinson of Morton, and Gary (Rose) Wilkinson of Eugene, OR; three grandchildren; two great-grandsons; sister, Laurel Lorey; and several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and four brothers, Burl, Earl, James and Joseph. Eileen came to the area with her husband, who was employed at Caterpillar Tractor Co. She was a homemaker and attended Eastside Bible Church in Morton. A ceremony will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. Family and friends will be received one hour prior to the ceremony. Interment will be at Zion Evangelical United Methodist Church Cemetery in rural Pekin. Rev. Delmar Smith will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
