Obituary East Peoria - Eileen L. Paul, 89, of East Peoria, died at 12:15 AM Wednesday March 5, 2014 at Rosewood Care Center in East Peoria. She was born to William and Bertha Hutt Wadham on November 19, 1924 in Peoria. She married Gerald Paul on February 6, 1946 in Rantoul, IL. They spent over 61 years together in marriage. He preceded her in death on April 24, 2007 in East Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister Matilda Marks. Eileen is survived by her two daughters, Christine Hultquist of Lisle and Kathi (Kevin) Johnson of Creve Coeur, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She spent her time at home raising her children. She loved to bowl with her husband and enjoyed reading romance novels. She also spent time crocheting, knitting and sewing. There will be a funeral for Eileen on Saturday March 8, 2014 at 11 AM at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Pastor Joe Weyer will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
