Edward Thomas Schrock, 64, of Washington, passed away at 2:03pm Saturday, April 8, 2023 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria.

He was born March 26, 1959 in Peoria, IL to Robert and Mary Huntzinger Schrock.  He is survived by his significant other for over 30 years, Janell Hall.

Also surviving is his father, Robert Schrock; son, Jason (Jill) Schrock; daughter, Jamie Schrock; two step-daughters, Chealse and Ileia Hall; four grandchildren; three brothers, Dan (Deb) Schrock, David Schrock, Tom (Karen) Schrock; two sisters, Barb (Steve) Skinner, Sarah (Tom) Seckler; step-sister, Tamilyn Gordon; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Schrock; step-mother, June Schrock; two step-brothers, Randy and Ronald Gordon; and step-sister, Joni Lee Karcher.

Edward worked as a construction worker and carpenter in the Washington area for over 40 years.  He could take apart most anything and fix it.  He loved music and playing his guitar.  He never knew a stranger, and was always there to help with whatever was needed.  His biggest love was spending time with his family, he will be dearly missed.

Cremation has been accorded.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
