Obituary EAST PEORIA-Edward Byron Keil, 63, of East Peoria, IL died at 5:15 PM Monday, April 9, 2012 at his home. He was born on December 11, 1948 in Peoria, IL to John Byron and Erma Slager Keil. Surviving are his parents, John B. "Jack" and Erma and 1 brother, John Kevin (Mary) Keil, all of East Peoria, and 3 nephews, Adam (Jillian) Keil, Alexander (Adrienne) Keil and Andrew Keil. Edward graduated from University of Illinois in 1970 and also attended University of Illinois Medical School in Chicago. He spent most of his working years in the auto parts retail industry. Edward worked at O'Reilly Auto Parts for the last eight years. He enjoyed golf and auto racing. There will be a graveside service at 11 AM Friday, April 13, 2012 at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. Pastor Mary Arnold will officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded. Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria is assisting the family with arrangements.
