Edward "Ed" Ellis, 68, of Paris, TN, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025 in Edelstein, IL.

He was born June 26, 1956 in Peoria, IL to James and Lucille (Ackley) Ellis.  Surviving are his mother, Lucille Ellis; daughter, Alana (Jason) Dotson; two sons, Jason (Jessica) Ellis, Blake Ellis; eight grandchildren, Nicholas Dotson, Summer Ellis, Nicole Dotson, Ashton Ellis, Brayden Ellis, Emilee Ellis, Caleb Dotson, Mason Ellis; great-grandson, Ryker Dotson; two sisters, Rhonda (Matt) Hoppe, Olivia Ellis; three brothers, David (Carla) Ellis, Lonnie Ellis, Andy Ellis; aunt, Linda Kee; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father, James.

Ed worked as a press operator at Dana Inc. before retiring.  He enjoyed woodworking, traveling, camping and reading.

Per his wishes, cremation has been accorded.  There will be a private service at a later date.  Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.
