Obituary EAST PEORIA Edward C. Doolan, 66, of East Peoria passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 6:15 P.M. at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Edward was born on July 7, 1949 in Ottawa to Charles W. and Dorothy L. Dale Doolan. He married Roseanna Rosinski on April 26, 1969 in Peoria. She survives. Also surviving are their children, Elouise Hill of Bartonville and Raymond Doolan of East Peoria; one sister, Marilyn Hall of Indiana; and two grandchildren, Cole Doolan and Rose Marie Doolan. He was preceded in death by his sister, June. Edward was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked as a wire mill shipper for Keystone Steel & Wire for 39 years; retiring in 2006. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. A funeral service for Edward will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded.
