Obituary Edna M. McKinley, 94, of East Peoria, passed away at 7:25 pm Saturday, Dec. 24, 2016 at her home. She was born June 2, 1922 in Bloomington, IL to Hubert and Marie Handley Jones. She married Walter McKinley in Pekin in 1957. He preceded her in death in 1960. She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Judy; son, Ronnie; 1 brother, 1 grandson, and 2 great-granddaughters. Surviving are her son, Albert Schultz Jr. of East Peoria; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Edna was a homemaker and a life member of the VFW Post 2078 Auxiliary in East Peoria. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to VFW Post 2078 in East Peoria. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria. Visitation will be from Noon to 2 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
