Obituary Earl C. Tiller, 82, of Washington, IL, passed away at 9:30 am Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 20, 1929 in Olgo, KY, the son of Oris and Birdie Morgan Tiller, he married Clarice Modendricker, his wife of 59 years, on April 12, 1952 in East Peoria, IL. She survives. Also surviving are five children: Debbie (Bill) Grady of Peoria, IL, Steve (Sandy) Tiller of Mesa, AZ, Joe Tiller and Ted (Alice) Tiller, both of Washington, IL, and Mark (Tami) Tiller of Northumberland, PA, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one sister, Helen Connor of Peoria, IL, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. Earl worked as a warehouse man for White Farm Implement Co. in Peoria for 13 years, retiring in 1980. He also served as a Union Steward Representative for the Peoria Teamsters. A memorial service will be at 11 am Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Grace Bible Church in Washington. Pastor Larry Bishop and Pastor Adam Kipp will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
