Dorothy G. Roth, 99, of Metamora, passed away at 5:10pm Thursday, September 15, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born March 9, 1923 in Metamora to Michael A. and Gertrude Dubois Roth Jr.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marguerite Wallace; and brother, Donald.

Surviving are a number of cousins and very good friends, especially Dave and Sue Elbert.

Dorothy loved the outdoors and never knew a stranger.  She will be dearly missed.

She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington where her Mass will be held at 10:30am Wednesday, September 28, 2022.  Visitation will be one hour before Mass on Wednesday at the church.  Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.  Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to her church.
