Obituary PEORIA-Dorothy Furnace, 86, of Peoria, IL passed away at 3:20 pm Thursday, December 22, 2011 at her home, following a battle with Parkinson's disease. Born on April 6, 1925 near Epworth, ND to August and Maggie Spitzer Roseno, she married LeRoy Furnace on July 2, 1951 in Chicago, IL; he survives. Also surviving are 3 daughters, Patricia A. Furnace of Normal, IL, Alice (Charles) Tabacchi of Granger, IN, and Diana Furnace of Peoria Heights, IL and 1 brother, Bud Roseno of Plaza, ND. She was preceded in death by 14 brothers and sisters. Dorothy was a homemaker and enjoyed baking, especially cookies, breads, and homemade noodles for her family and friends. In honor of Dorothy's wishes, there will be no services and cremation rites will be accorded. Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
