Obituary WASHINGTON - Doris V. Paluska, 80, of Lakeland, FL and formerly of Washington, IL, died December 16, 2007 in Orlando, FL after complications of a stroke. Born in Marseilles, IL on January 5, 1927 to Myrill and Ida Judy, she married George F. Paluska on September 17, 1948. He and a son, Greg, preceded her in death. Surviving are 2 daughters, Chris Season of Oak Creek, WI, and Michele McGlaughlin of Delafield, WI, and a son, Randy Paluska of Peoria, a sister Jean Marsa of The Villages, FL, and sister-in-law, Goldie Paluska of Washington, IL. Doris truly loved her grandchildren Diane McGlaughlin of Prior Lake, MN, Monica Fremming of Jordan, MN and Steve and Erin Williams of Peoria, IL. She was adored by her great-grandsons, Brian, Logan, and Lleyton. Doris enjoyed the retirement life in Florida by playing golf and entertaining friends and family. She was a member of the Lakeland Resurrection Catholic Church. A memorial mass will be held at 10 am Saturday, January 12, 2008 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington. The Rev. Joseph P. Donton will officiate.Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services, from 9-10 am at the church. Burial of the cremated remains at Glendale Cemetery in Washington will follow the services.
