Obituary Doris B. Marquart, 92, of Washington, IL, formerly of Morton, Metamora, IL and St. Louis, MO area, passed away at 5:45 am Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Unity Point Health Proctor Hospital in Peoria. Born on March 11, 1923 in Labadie, MO to Samuel L. and Louvienia Duebbert Jones, she married Joseph H. Marquart on August 26, 1944 in Washington, MO. He preceded her in death on June 23, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her daughter, Yvonne (Edward III) Peifer of Washington; and two grandsons, Edward IV of Los Angeles, CA and Andrew of Peoria, IL. Doris is a graduate of the Jewish Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1944 and worked as a Registered Nurse for 35 years in the St. Louis area. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton where her Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am Wednesday, December 23, 2015 with Msgr. Gerald Ward and Fr. Kyle Lucas officiating. Visitation will be from 4 - 5:45 pm Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington, where recitation of the Rosary will be at 5:45 pm. Further visitation will be 30 minutes before Mass on Wednesday at the Church. Private Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Peoria.
