Obituary Doris A. Donner, 85, of Eureka, formerly of Carlinville, IL died at 9:10 PM Sunday January 29, 2012 at Maple Lawn Homes in Eureka. She was born August 26, 1926 in Morton to Wilbur and Emma Householter Roth. She married Delmar Donner on October 21, 1957. She later married Oren Donner in October of 1985 in Carlinville. He preceded her in death in the summer of 2005 in Carlinville. She was also preceded in death by her parents, infant twin sons Richard and Roger, and one brother Morris Dean Roth. Doris is survived by two sons; Keith (Gail) Donner of Brazil, formerly of Metamora and Dale (Paula) Donner of Princeton, five grandchildren; Kaisey, Erik, Kayla, Alyssa and Chris and one sister Gene Ann Wayner of Washington, IL. She was a 1948 graduate of Illinois State Normal University. She later worked as a branch manager for 25 years at First Federal Bank in Carlinville. She was a member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ in Carlinville. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, and playing cards. She also loved to travel and stay active. There will be a funeral for Doris at 10AM Friday February 3, 2012 at Washington Evangelical United Methodist Church. Pastors John Hauck and Kevin Strope will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Thursday February 2, 2012 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington.
