Donna Van Zandbergen, 82, of Metamora, passed away at home on July 7, 2025.

She was born August 11, 1942 in Peoria to the late Charles and Lucille Kemp Dillenbeck. She married Roger A. Van Zandbergen on October 17, 1984 in Peoria; he preceded her in death on June 12, 2019.

Surviving are her children, Anita (Brad) Madden of Washington and Curt (Polly) Hagey of Dublin, TX; grandchildren, Carly Elford, Jessy Brennecke, Lane Meeks, Levi Meeks,

and Ashley Cox; eight great-grandchildren; and nephews and niece, Chris, Matt, and Noel.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Lenny Dillenbeck.

Donna grew up in East Peoria and graduated from East Peoria Community High School. She worked at CILCO and later at Dynamic Graphics, where she met Roger. She enjoyed simple things, like her home, her family, and her dog.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am Monday, July 14, 2025 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
