Obituary WASHINGTON-Donna Rae Lee of Washington, IL died at 2:50 AM Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Washington Christian Village in Washington. Born on April 10, 1934 in Bloomington, IL to Raymond Edward and Virginia Mae (Zortman) Miller, she married Basil Kenneth "Ken" Lee on August 6, 1951 in Bloomington, IL, and they lived since that time in Washington. He preceded her in death on November 26, 2001 in Peoria, IL. Surviving are 2 daughters, Pat "Susie" (Steve) Addler of Tenstrike, MN and Lisa (Tom) Phillips of Tosontsengel, Mongolia; 4 sons, Benjie (Beth) Lee of Las Vegas, David (Brenda) Lee and John (Leslie) Lee, both of Washington, and Doug (Becky) Lee of Las Vegas; 1 daughter-in-law, Kim Lee of Washington; 15 grandchildren; Jen, Max, Sam, and John Addler, Aimee and Andy Lee, Dana Lee, Hannah and Ahnya Phillips, Katie and Kristen Lee, Ocean and Malia Lee, and Megan and Kayla Lee and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Bill and Mark. Donna was a stay-at-home mom - quite an undertaking with 8 children! She was much-loved by them all. She and Ken enjoyed traveling to Minnesota regularly where their daughter and son-in-law own a resort. God provided some wonderful neighbors who watched after her and kindly cared for her over the years. Her family also wishes to express their deep thanks to her doctors, as well as to the nurses and staff at Washington Christian Village who provided wonderful and compassionate care. A Memorial Service will be 1 PM Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington. Pastor Terry Phillips will officiate. A Memorial Visitation will be 5-8 PM Friday, April 6, 2012 at the funeral home. Cremation has been accorded and inurnment will be private at Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
