Obituary
WASHINGTON-Donna M. Holthe, 81, of Washington, IL died at 11:30 am Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Washington Christian Village in Washington.
Born on August 12, 1929 in Ransom, IL to John and Sue Motegski Wargo, she married Raymond E. Holthe on November 25, 1954 in Streator, IL. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mary Eakman of Indianapolis, IN and Karen (Ricky) Tessman of Waukesha, WI; five sons, Tom (Elaine) of Katy, TX, Steve (Jean) of Arnold, MO, Jim of Washington, IL, Paul (Michelle) of Eureka, IL, and Matt (Janet) of Bloomington, IL; her sister, Lorraine Olivero of Peru, IL; ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild, six nieces, and seven nephews.
She was preceded in chapter eternal by her parents, her brother John, her grandson Grant and two nephews.
Donna worked as a medical technician in Chicago until her marriage, after which she was a stay-at-home mother to her seven wonderful children.
She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington for 54 years, where a funeral Mass will be at 10 am Monday, July 11, 2011. Msgr. John Prendergast will officiate. Visitation will be 3-5 pm Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington, with a recitation of the Rosary at 4:45 pm. Additional visitation will be 1/2 hour prior to Mass on Monday at the church. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in rural Morton.
