Obituary Donna Lee Hollenbaugh, 77, of Washington, formerly of LaFollette, TN, passed away at 6:03 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born May 14, 1937 in Fairmont, WV to William Hamilton and Martha Hawkinberry. She married George William Hollenbaugh on June 19, 1955. He preceded her in death on August 14, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her daughter, Laura (James) Cotner of Washington; son, Terry Hollenbaugh of Washington; three grandchildren, Sarah Cotner of Chicago, IL, Heather (Andy) Anderson of Noblesville, IN, Grant Cotner of Washington; and two step-brothers, Franklin (Angie) Bell of Orlando, FL and Gene Bell of Clarksburg, WV. Donna worked as a school secretary at Beechtree Elementary for many years in Falls Church VA, then as the receptionist at Buehler Home in Peoria before retiring. She attended Fincastle United Methodist Church in LaFollette, TN and then Glen Oak Christian Church in Peoria. She enjoyed reading, gardening, the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends. She had a passion for animals, especially cats. Memorials may be made to the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, TAPS Animal Shelter in Pekin, or the American Lung Association. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Family will receive friends one hour before the service.
