Obituary WASHINGTON-Dolores B. "Dee" Knoblauch, 84, of Washington formerly of Toluca died Monday, June 9, 2014 at her residence. Born on April 10, 1930 in Eureka to Daniel and Marie Michael Krumholz, she married William E. Knoblauch on June 7, 1952 in Metamora; he preceded her in death on January 7, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Andrew Hattan; great-grandaughter, Madelyn Grace Outzs; and son-in-law, Bob Linsley. Surviving are 4 daughters, Jan (Chip) Webster of Varna, Chris (Bill) McComb of Carmel, IN, Laurie (Dennis) Hattan of Varna, and Patti Linsley of Peoria; 2 sons, Dan (Laura) Knoblauch of Indianapolis, IN and Tom (Laura) Knoblauch of Normal; 3 sisters, Rosemary Knoblauch and Mary (Carl) Adams, both of Metamora, and Rita (Norbert) Weber of Mendota; 4 brothers, Tony Krumholz of Metamora, Dan Jr. (JoAnn) Krumholz of Eureka, Bill (Joan) Krumholz of Peoria, and Bernard (Joanne) Krumholz of Eureka; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Dee was a dedicated wife and partner to her husband who was a lifelong farmer. She was also a loving mother to her children and loved being "Grandma Dee". Dee loved family gatherings and was a champion euchre player. Although she retired from farming, she still enjoyed gardening. Dee was a former member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Toluca and most recently an active member of St. Patrick Church in Washington. A Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM Friday June 13, 2014 at St. Patrick Church in Washington. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington, with a recitation of the rosary at 4:30 PM. Interment will be at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery in Toluca. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick Church in Washington or St. Elizabeth Grotto in Washburn.
