Dolores Hutt, 75, of Groveland, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Hopedale Medical Complex.

She was born on March 24, 1949 in Davenport, IA to Wilbur and Margaret Peters. They precede her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Hutt.

She married Steve Hutt in Davenport, IA on July 11, 1981.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years; her daughter, Wendy (Mike) Hutt of Peoria; and her sister, Kay White of Bettendorf, IA.

Dolores graduated from Davenport Central High School. She worked for Caterpillar starting at the Davenport, IA plant, and later moving to the Bettendorf, IA plant, and then to the Morton, IL facility. She retired from Morton in 2003 with 30 years of service.

She was a wonderful wife and mother. Dolores's favorite place was her cabin in Northern Minnesota. Boating, snowmobiling, fishing, swimming, or just sitting on the deck watching the lake brought her so much happiness.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Crane Lake Volunteer Fire Department in Crane Lake, Minnesota.

Cremation has been entrusted to Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. At her request, no services are planned. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
