Delores May Lavaux. 85, of Washington passed away at 8:00pm Friday, September 14, 2018 at Washington Christian Village. Delores was born November 13, 1932 in Peoria to Arthur and Hazel Russsel Burgard. She married Harold Lavaux on March 27, 1950; he preceded her in death in 1995. Surviving is a son, Rick (Debra) Lavaux; granddaughters, Carey (Max) Boelter of Colorado Springs, CO and Whitney Lavaux of Atlanta, GA; and two great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; son, Mike Lavaux; daughter-in-law Linda Lavaux; and grandsons, Cameron and Branden Lavaux. Delores was an avid Cubs fan and loved playing cards. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Pastor Dan Doty will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in rural Morton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
