Obituary Debra Carol Kannenberg Jones, 51, of Washington, IL died at 3:40 PM Thursday, July 11, 2013 at her home. Born on December 22, 1961 in Peoria, IL to Howard and Maudetta Graves Kannenberg, she married Garry Jones on April 29, 1978 in Peoria; he survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Julie Jones and four grandchildren, Victoria, Rebecca, Dylan and Kristen, all of Washington; one brother, Danny Kannenberg of Peoria; and many precious family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Garry Jones Jr. Deb had worked as a floral designer and last worked in 1991 as a retail manager for Dollar General Store. She was a member of Parents of Suicide, OBHOS and a supporter of many charities. She dearly loved her family and her grandkids were her life. There will be a memorial service at 3 PM Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington. Pastor John Bussone will officiate. A Memorial Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded and private inurnment will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria at a later date.
