Obituary NORMAL-Deborah J. Tesch Pearson, 59, of Normal, IL, formerly of Washington, died at 4:14 PM Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal. Born on December 24, 1954 in Peoria, IL to Robert and Helen Larson Tesch, she married Gary M. Pearson on October 12, 1974 in Washington; he survives. Also surviving is one son, Brett Pearson of Chicago, her brother-in-laws and their wives; Robert (Sallie) Pearson of Frankfort, IN, William (Karen) Pearson of Chicago, IL, Barry Pearson and Randy Pearson both of Washington, IL and Ronny Pearson of Marengo, IL, and her nieces and nephews; Jennifer, Stephanie, Megan, Allison, Jeffery, Matt, and Wil. Deborah was a 1972 graduate of Washington Community High School and attended Illinois Central College. She worked at the McLean County Health Department for many years and enjoyed walking, reading, and cooking. Her family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Cancer Center on Vernon Ave. in Normal, IL for all of their help with Deborah's care. They would also like to thank Fran Pierantoni and Lou Ann Hayford for their kindness in helping Gary during this difficult time. A graveside service for Deborah will be at 2 pm on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Glendale Cemetery in Washington. Rev. Vaughn Hoffman will officiate. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Central Illinois Humane Society or the Washington Rescue Squad.
