Obituary BARTONVILLE- Debi K. Scharp, 62, of Bartonville passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 5:45PM at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. Debi was born in Peoria to Wallace and Dona Evans Jacquet on November 9, 1952. She married Larry Scharp on May 19, 1990 in Peoria. He survives. Also surviving are her stepdaughters, Debbie Scharp of Bellevue, Amy (Scott) Arp of Brimfield, Angie (Alberto) Linan of St. Charles, MO, Cori (Rich) Storm of Peoria, and Beth Scharp of Centralia,; step-grandchildren, Amber, Bobby, Madison, Kyle, Lucas, Kathleen, Elizabeth, Cayden, Logan, Samuel, Jacob, and Rebecca; three step-great-grandchildren, Samson, Tucker, and Sawyer; and several aunts, uncles and cousins . She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Thomas Jacquet. Debi graduated from East Peoria High School. For many years, she worked as a dog groomer. She loved horseback riding and caring for her horses. She and her husband, Larry enjoyed their time traveling to the Grand Hotel in Mackinac Island, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to TAPS in Pekin. A funeral service for Debbie will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 11:00A.M. at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in East Peoria. Pastor Howard Love will officiate. Interment will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
