Obituary Darlene K. Rotermund, 70, of East Peoria, passed away at 6:41 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born Nov. 1, 1945 in Peoria, IL to Henry M. and Dorothy E. Koester Horn. She married Frederick H. Rotermund on Nov. 3, 1962 in East Peoria. He preceded her in death on Sept. 6, 2016. She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Cathy; brother, Gerald; and sister, Thelma. Surviving are 7 children, Frederick Jr., Janet, Rochelle, Diane, Heidi, Jill and Jeremy; and numerous grandchildren. Darlene was a homemaker. She will be dearly missed. Cremation has been accorded. Private services will be held. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is in charge of arrangements.
