Obituary Danny R. Davis, 45, of Spring Bay, left the world with laughter at 10:36am, Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at OSF St. Francis in Peoria. Danny was born October 23, 1969 in Peoria to Daniel and Leona Cox Davis. Surviving are his parents, Leona Tipsword of East Peoria, and Daniel Davis of Monticello, IN; his children, Andrew Davis of Spring Bay, Jerod (Ashley) Davis of East Peoria, and Marissa (Eric) Richard of Spring Bay; grandchildren, Hunter, Jacob, Isaac, Landyn, Bentley, Kyle, and Jaxon; aunts and uncles, Ernie, Leonard, Howard, Arthur, Ella, Jo, and Denise; paternal grandmother, Lorraine; sister, Patty (Rob) Hutter of Monticello, IN; many nieces and nephews; and ex-wife and friend, Patricia Davis. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David, Donald, and Rose; aunt, Nancy, and grandson, Daulton Davis. Danny graduated from East Peoria High School in 1988. He worked with his family at the original Davis Bros. location in Creve Coeur for many years, starting at age 15. Most recently, he worked as a cook at Kouri's in Germantown Hills. He loved fishing and enjoyed going with his uncle Leonard. He also enjoyed collecting firearms, and taking his kids target shooting. A funeral service to honor Danny's life will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, May 11, 2015 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Spring Bay Cemetery in Spring Bay. Rev. Joe Richard will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
