Obituary --Danny R. Boswell, 59, of East Peoria, died at 11:01 PM, on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. He was born on September 15, 1948 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Harry Joseph and Irene Page Boswell. He married Johnetta C. Hale on May 27, 1967 in Poplar Bluff, MO; she survives. Also surviving is 1 son, Steven R. Boswell of Pekin, IL; 1 brother, Billy (Linda) Boswell of Glasford, IL; and 2 grandchildren, Drake and Tanner. He was preceded in death by his parents. Danny was a laborer in the fabric department for Keystone Steel & Wire in Bartonville, retiring after 35 years of service. Danny was a member of the Sunday Night Twilight Bowling League at Roxy's in Pekin for over 30 years. Danny loved to fish whenever he had the chance. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at Deiters Funeral Home in East Peoria. The Rev. Bill Lakota Eastin will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5 - 7 PM on Friday, October 12, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria, IL. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
