Dale Trovillion, 76, of Deer Creek, passed away peacefully at 5:15pm Thursday, August 25, 2022 at his home with his loving wife by his side.

Dale was born January 22, 1946 in Washington to the late Cecil and Eleanor Brierton Trovillion. He married Maureen Marshall on OCtober 21, 1977; she survives.

Also surviving are his children, Stacey (Brian) Wasson of Colona, Jason (Rachael) Trovillion of Mackinaw, and Camron (Amanda) Trovillion of Bloomington; grandchildren, Andrea, Allison, David, Elizabeth, Clarissa, Sophie and Jett; great gandchildren, Lucy and Saige; and his siblings, Charles and Dave Trovillion and Sela Boucher.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Rosemary and Delores.

Dale graduated from Washington Community High School and later ICC. He was drafted into the US Army in 1965 and went to work at Caterpillar following his honorable discharge, retiring in 2003. Dale was very talented in woodworking, gardening and wine making.  He was of Baptist faith.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in rural Morton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Valley Food Pantry.
