Obituary
Washington- Cleo "Bud" Earl Duckwiler, 79, of Peoria, IL died 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at his home.
Born on January 4, 1933 in Green Valley, IL to Earl and Bessie Williams Duckwiler. He was married to Ada Esther McCloud on August 17, 1960 in Florence, Alabama. She preceded him in death on August 19, 2004.
Surviving are four daughters and one son, Mona (Richard "Zippy") Blunk, Peoria; Dena (Jim) Binegar, East Peoria; Carl Duckwiler, Washington; Marcia Kay (Bob) Ellis, Peoria and Melinda (Andy) Bush, Grays Lake; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Bud was preceded in death by a son, Gary Duckwiler on June 12, 2011, a brother, Wayne Duckwiler and a sister, Helen Colston.
Bud was the owner and operator of Bud's Auto Sales in Creve Coeur since 1971. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Washington and also a member of the Eastern Star.
A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2012 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. Funeral Services for Bud will take place 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the funeral home. Andy Felix will officiate. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
