Clarence Edwin Noe, 86, of Pekin, and formerly of Washington, IL, died at 1:40 am Friday, August 4, 2023 at Cedarhurst of Pekin.

Born on November 18, 1936 in Oshkosh, WI to Henry Joseph and Anne Lichtenwald Noe, he married Nancy Sue Hansen on July 2, 1955 in Peoria, IL.  She preceded him in death on February 7, 2019 in Peoria, IL.

Surviving are 3 grandchildren, Kenneth Noe, Tara Shrader, and Shaun Noe, 5 great- grandchildren, 1 brother Henry Noe of Peoria, IL and 1 step-sister Jamie Boland of Roanoke, IL, his sister-in-law and caretaker, Corliss Hansen of Pekin, IL and his cat, Meadow.

He was preceded in death by his 4 children: Eva Marie, Rebecca Sue, Joseph and Robert.

Clarence worked at Caterpillar Tractor Co. as a Patternmaker in the Foundry Division, retiring in January of 1995 after 40 years of service.  He was a longtime member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in East Peoria.

Services will be private with burial in Glendale Cemetery in Washington, IL.  Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Lupus Foundation or to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
