Obituary Christopher Jamere Senti, 24, of Rio Rancho, NM and formerly of Peoria, IL died at 12 am Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Sandoval Medical Center in Rio Rancho. He was born on December 31, 1991 in Peoria to Shawn M. Senti and Darrin Lamont Simpson. Surviving are his mother, Shawn of Washington, IL and his father, Darrin Lamont (Josie) of Rio Rancho, NM, 1 sister, Justine Mack, 1 brother, Xavier Simpson, maternal grandmother, Trisha Wilhite of Creve Coeur, IL, maternal grandfather, Butch Senti of Peoria, and paternal grandmother, Ida Simpson of St. Paul, MN. Also surviving are 2 aunts, Lamicka "Mickey" Simpson, and Tonya Senti, and many cousins; the love of his life, Alexis Higgins and his best friend, Lauren "LaLa" Higgins. Chris also loved and cherished all his friends from the Lanes. Chris had a happy soul and a big heart and loved helping other people. He attended IVC High School where he enjoyed playing on the Rugby Team. When Chris was in Peoria, he worked at Signs Matter for Adam Rieger, who was generous enough to teach Chris a skill and whose friendship Chris greatly valued. A visitation will be at from 3-5 pm Monday, August 22, 2016 at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington. A celebration of life will follow at 5:30 pm at Detweiller Park in Peoria. Memorials may be made to a memorial fund established at CEFCU to help the family cover expenses. Cemetery Details Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation.
