Christina "Chris" Crew, 49, of Washington, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born September 16, 1974 in Peoria to Donald and Diane Burgess Sutter.  She married Lee Crew in Creve Coeur on September 19, 1998.  He survives.

Also surviving are her parents, Donald and Diane Sutter; two sons, Gage (Caroline) Crew, and Gavin Crew; one sister, Mary Harper; three nephews, Donald (Kelsey) Harper, Brandon Harper, and Kaleb Harper; several aunts and uncles; and her fur-babies, Willow and Blu. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.

Chris worked at Skyline Publishing in Pekin. She loved Halloween, horror movies, doing crafts, spending time with her family and friends, and her fur-babies.

A funeral service will be held at 5pm Tuesday, August 20th at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington.  Visitation will be two hours before the service, from 3 to 5pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to TAPS no-kill animal shelter in Pekin.
