Chris Stewart, 64, of Morton, formerly of Washington, passed away at 3:55am Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

Chris was born November 24, 1957 in Peoria to Gilbert D. and Ruth C. Menke Stewart. He married Sandra L. Campbell Camp on December 19, 2008; she survives.

Also surviving are his children, David Stewart of Berkley, MI,  Jamie Stewart of Champaign, and stepson Scott Camp of Creve Coeur; his siblings, Diane (Tim) VandeSchraaf of East Peoria, Nancy DeLong of Washington, Matt (Kathy) Stewart of Peoria, Tony Stewart, and Catherine Stewart, both of East Peoria; one nephew, and three nieces.

He was preceded in death by his dad.

Chris worked for the TP&W railroad, and later worked at ADM and Eastport Marina.
