Obituary EAST PEORIA - Charlotte Renee Shutts, 56, of East Peoria, died at 11:20 am Friday, January 12, 2007 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. Born on September 24, 1950 in Peoria, IL to James and Irma Mott Allen, she married Leslie I. Shutts on July 10, 1976 in Peoria. He survives. Also surviving are 1 brother, Cecil (Sue) Allen of Peoria, 1 sister, Sharon (Charles) Crank of Bartonville, 1 sister-in-law Mabel (David) Blankenship Sr. of Bellevue, many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles, also her two dogs Jack and Joe. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was a homemaker, enjoying cooking for her family. She also enjoyed watching Rev. Billy Graham. Services will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Deiters Funeral Home, 444 E. Washington St. East Peoria. The Rev. Ron Stewart will officiate. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service. A graveside service will be at 2pm Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at the Mausoleum at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate in Peoria.
