Charles R. Royer, Jr., 63, of Peoria, passed away at 5:40am Monday, July 11, 2022 at OSF Richard L.

Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

Chuck was born September 29, 1958 in Peoria to Charles R. Royer, Sr. and Mabel Ann Fryer Royer. He

married Patricia Boehl on September 1, 1979 in Germantown Hills.

Surviving are his children, Charles R. Royer III of Metamora and Catherine Floyd (August Schultz) of

Evanston; grandchildren, Andre Floyd and Kayleigh Royer; his mother, Mabel Royer; siblings, Richard

Royer, Corella Bair, and James Royer; and a nephew, Blade Bair.

He was preceded in death by his father and infant twin brothers.

Chuck was known for his loving, caring, determination. Always full of humor and humility. A beloved

father who will be remembered by his children and grandchildren for the knowledge and passions he

bestowed. As a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps during the 1980's, he traveled the globe

and experienced great adventures while serving the country he loved. Chuck was an avid Cubs and

Packers fan, who enjoyed riding his Harley and "living life on his own terms". Though battling illnesses

for the past 20 years he stayed strong and courageous while maintaining a truly positive, never give up

attitude!

Cremation rites have been accorded and a "celebration" of life will be announced at a later time.
