Obituary EAST PEORIA- Catherine "Cathy" Ann Johnson, 75, of East Peoria passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 6:30 P.M. at her residence. Cathy was born on May 30, 1940 in Kewanee, IL to Pearl G. and Anna Mae Todd Lyle. She married Ronald Johnson on June 4, 1961 in Kewanee. He survives. Also surviving are her daughters, Tracy Johnson of Lisle, IL and Jill Johnson Wibowo, Jill's husband Glenn, and their 2 sons Kobe (14), Wesley (11) of Lancaster, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents. Cathy was educated in Kewanee schools, graduating from Kewanee High School in 1958. She graduated from the Sterling School of Beauty Culture and later attended Illinois Central College. Cathy worked as a retail marketing analyst with A.C. Nielsen for 30 years. She loved camping with her family and friends all over the country. She and Ron spent several of their winters in Florida during their retirement, and loved all the new friends they made there. Catherine's family would like to acknowledge the excellent care provided by the Illinois Cancer Care Center, Illinois Endoscopy Center, Loyola University Hepatology Team, and Hospice Compassus. Memorial contributions may be made to Illinois Cancer Care Foundation in Peoria in care of Deiters Funeral Home, Washington, IL. A funeral service for Cathy will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington, IL. Chaplain Dwight Winnett will officiate. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 1, 2016 from 2:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
