Obituary CREVE COEUR-Carolyn E. Harms, 69, of Creve Coeur, IL died at 11:07 AM Monday, January 21, 2013 at Timbercreek Rehab & Health Care Center in Pekin, IL. She was born on August 11, 1943 in Peoria, IL to Lloyd T. and Artha L. Smith Cox. Carolyn is survived by 2 sons, Levi (Carrie) Harms of East Peoria and Barry (Denise) Harms Sr. of North Pekin; 1 brother, Donald (Dorothy) Cox of East Peoria; 1 sister, Marilyn (Lewis) McGinnis of Necedah, WI; and 5 grandchildren, Barry Jr., Jordan, Taylor, Caiden, and Callen. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and an infant daughter. Carolyn was a homemaker. She attended Illinois School for the Deaf in Jacksonville, IL and was a member of the National Fraternal Society of the Deaf. Funeral Services will be at 10 AM Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. Rev. Rick Kensinger will officiate. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Friday January 25, 2013 at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. Burial will be at Little Mackinaw Cemetery in Minier, IL.
