Obituary WASHINGTON--Carolyn J. Gorman, 72, of Washington, died at 12:51 AM, on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, IL. She was born on July 27, 1934 in Peoria, Illinois to William and Alice Farley Bamber. She married Daniel E. Gorman on October 20, 1951 in Peoria, Illinois; he survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters, Joyce (Ron) Ragain of East Peoria, IL, and Patricia (Rick) Streeter of Sunnyland, IL; granddaughter, Ashley Ragain of Pekin, IL and 2 grandsons, Joshua Ragain of Mattoon, IL and Rick Daniel Streeter of Sunnyland, IL; 3 sisters, Elsa (Skip) Toft of Sunnyland, IL, Beverly (Dick) Dagit of East Peoria, IL, and Martha Harms of Bartonville, IL; 2 brothers, Walter Bamber of Peoria, IL and Lyle (Frances) Bamber of Peoria, IL; and her beloved dog, Maggie. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers. A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington. Cremation rites have been accorded.
